You can have an artwork made using the stars that were above your birthplace on the night you were born.

Or instead, choose any significant date and location: the night you met your spouse; the birth of a child / grandchild; a wedding date; or the last amazing trip you took with a loved one before they died.

The artwork usually includes some gold stitching on a particular constellation. It could be your star sign, or any other constellations/celestial object of your choice. Some people have a favourite constellation, like Orion or the big dipper. Others have a favourite star, like the North star. What do you always look for in the night sky?

A custom night sky artwork is a great gift for celebrating life milestones: graduations, births, weddings, and other rites of passage. Commissioning an artwork can also be a meaningful way to memorialize a loved one, by capturing the constellations, planets or stars that they loved.

To create your personalized star configuration, I use a computer program to generate the location of the stars at an exact moment in time. I can put in any date (past or future) and any location on Earth and get an accurate star chart of the sky overhead on your significant date.

I use this star-chart to precisely hand-sew your stars and constellation(s) onto one of my night-time photographs.
